Low-fat Hummus

This is a super quick and easy recipe for when you just need a dip and something crunchy. Plain corn chips and carrot sticks are a great healthy option.

Ingredients
  • 2 (425g) cans chickpeas, drained and reserve juice
  • 1medium clove of garlic
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tsp celtic salt
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • I like to mix it up a bit by adding other spices too.
Instructions
  1. Leave chickpea juice aside and blend all other ingredients in your blender or Thermomix. Thermomix: Speed 6 for 20 seconds
  2. Add just a little chickpea juice and mix to make the right consistency.
  3. Serve with your favourite chips, crackers or carrot sticks.
